Side effects are rare, however, Cetostearyl alcohol may cause skin reactions such as inflammation and redness where the cream has been applied (contact dermatitis).

The active ingredients are:

Urea 1.0%, Dimeticone 350 (9.0% w/w), Cetrimide (0.5% w/w) and Chlorocresol (0.1% w/w).

Other ingredients are:

Paraffin, Cetostearyl alcohol, water.
